Celebrate spring with us the 25th Anniversary of the SAKURA MATSURI hosted at Stony Brook University. Experience Japanese culture through engaging workshops, dynamic performances, and lively demonstrations—including a colorful Cosplay Show. LIJCC will be doing a Ikebana demonstration (from 12pm to 1pm) and exhibition at the Theater Lobby, please do stop by! This festival is co-produced by the Japan Center at Stony Brook University and the Ryu Shu Kan Japanese Arts Center.
JAPAN DAY PARADE AND STREET FAIR
JAPAN DAY INC. is once again bringing the excitement of the Japan Day Parade and Street Fair (with Japanese foods) to NYC (72nd Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue), on May 10th from 11 AM to 5 PM! This vibrant celebration aims to promote friendship and cultural exchange between Japan and the United States. LIJCC is proud to march with our students and staff, representing the incredible community we’ve built together on Long Island!
